In 1943, Mr. Wilfrido Castillo Miranda founded the Firm of Public Accountants and Business Consultants named as him. In 2008 the Firm celebrates 65 years Building Value with Values. Since its foundation, the Firm has dedicated to provide, at the highest technical and ethical level, professional services for the absolute benefit of those who receive them, maintaining a constant improvement philosophy and developing a service spirit to our clients and an overall social commitment. In recent years, convinced of the need to modernize our professional practice, the Firm made the decision to invest the necessary resources and make everything to achieve it, such as the actions below: - In 2003, our offices were established at the Torre Mayor Building, the most modern and emblematic building in Mexico City, occupying most of the 31st floor and, due to growth, subsequently 31st floor was totally occupied and part of 32nd floor too.
- New areas of services were developed such as Corporate Governance and Risk Management, Corporate Finance and Foreign Trade.
- The Department of Marketing was created and the Firm implemented Horwath International’s initiative known as Demand Creation, been recognized as the most successful firm of Horwath within this initiative.
- In the last few years, our national presence has expanded through the incorporation of correspondents in Mexicali, Ciudad Juarez, Hermosillo, Aguascalientes and Queretaro, in addition to Guadalajara, Monterrey, Tijuana, Merida and Cancun.
- Since 2008, Horwath Castillo Miranda acquired an interest in Horwath Argentina with the goal of retarting the success obtained in Mexico and positioning Horwath as one of the most important firms within the Latin American region.
